Fermions

They are subatomics particles with fractional spin quantum numbers. They obey Fermi-Dirac statistics. They are:

• Quarks and Antiquarks
• Leptons and Antileptons

There are a total of 48 types of fermions, constituting 36 types of quarks and anti-quarks and 12 types of leptons and anti-leptons.
